The Internal Revenue Service offers several options for taxpayers who need assistance with paying a tax debt or are unable to pay at all. This webinar by tax attorney Adam S. Fayne will explore the various alternatives available to taxpayers. These options include payment plans, currently not collectible status, and Offers in Compromise.
Practitioners must understand these alternatives to effectively advise their clients on which collection option is suitable for their situation. Not every taxpayer qualifies for a payment plan or an Offer in Compromise. Adam will outline how to approach the IRS, the strategies involved, and the financial statements and information that must (and must not) be provided to the IRS.

Adam Fayne
Adam is a tax attorney who helps businesses and individuals with tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and tax planning both domestically and internationally. He also handles a variety of white collar criminal matters, both federal and state, particularly involving civil and criminal tax fraud, including tax evasion, money laundering and offshore tax compliance. Adam's knowledge of tax law is informed by his former role as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney with the Department of Treasury's IRS.
